The Innkeepers

Innkeepers Kathryn and Peter Sullivan have been the proprietors of Bayside Inn since the summer of 2001, when they moved to Boothbay Harbor from Boston, Massachusetts. The birth of their daughter that spring made them ready for a lifestyle change, so Kathryn resigned from FDIC as a senior bank examiner and Peter as a foreman for Nashoba Paving Company. The house was Kathryn's childhood home and the B&B was established by her parents in 1990. Having been owned by Kathryn's great uncle in the '50s, the house boasts a three-generation history of family ownership.

Having served thousands of visitors from all over the world who have come through Bayside's front door, Kathryn and Peter believe ownership of Bayside Inn benefits their family and the community as well as their many guests. Assisting their guests to relax, recharge and enjoy this beautiful part of Maine is a very satisfying endeavor, and they sincerely value and appreciate the opportunity.  They wish to welcome guests old and new with the following Irish rhyme:
